Action 50 Club

Our ‘Action 50’ Club, is designed around helping people from the corporate, commercial, and private sector who are looking to develop their corporate social responsibility (CSR) and give something back to society whilst increasing their visibility and boosting their image. 

Taking advantage of our unique networking platform allows you to build on your CSR profile whilst adding value and growth opportunities to your organisation, and satisfying your legal requirements through our discounted training portal which allows member companies & organisations access to our awareness & equality training.

 We all know that these last couple of years have strained everybody’s mental health. Unfortunately, young members of the LGBTQI+ community were already suffering prior to lockdown, over the last few years there has been a dramatic and clear increase in the number of children looking to hurt themselves or worse, our work at RYC centres, targets the most vulnerable children in society. 

 With young members of the LGBTQI+ community 45% more likely to hurt themselves compared to their non-LGBTQI+ peers, we use RYC centres, as a safe space’s for young members to be themselves, to ask for help or advice, find a friend through our peer-to-peer support network, and where possible, receive therapy sessions with qualified professionals. 

As the only organisation of its kind the RYC hopes, that with help from the Action 50 patrons such as yourself, to grow into a national support charity network. Working as a buffer, to and help young people before they need the already strained NHS.

 All money received from our Action 50 patrons goes towards the provision of these services. Without the generosity of our patrons, we would struggle to maintain our service or help the children that come through our doors. We cannot stress enough how grateful we are for our patrons continued support, help and generosity.

To be an Action 50 patron, we ask that you agree to donate a set fee each month for twelve months via standing order or direct debit, £50 is the cost of a single 1hr therapy session, which is where the Action 50 name comes from. but we know times are hard which is why our entry point is half that. 

By receiving regular donations this way allows us to plan and organise the best use of our resources, whether that is a block of therapy sessions for a child or a single event for multiple children.

We ask members to give us three months’ notice before cancelling their donation, which allows us to make alternative arrangements.
